Amway's Nutrilite is the Most trusted brand in
Vitamin / Health Supplement category according to Reader's digest Survey 2009.

Reader's digest carries out such survey since 11 years. The findings of the survey represents the brands whcih are most appealing to the Affluent customers. The Survey carried out by the Nielson Company. Reader's Digest Asia represents consumers in Hong Kong, Mainland China,Taiwan,India, Malaysia, Singapore, Philipines and Thailand.

The reseach is carried by giving the respondents, the questionnaires in which the they are asked to name their most trusted brand in each product categories and follwed by rating them on the basis of 6 dimensions from 1 (low) to 5 (high). They are Trustworthiness & Credibility, Quality, Value, Understanding of Customer Needs, Innovative and Social Responsibility. Each brand then receives a mathematical score based on the number of respondents who named it, multiplied by the average rating on the six qualitative criteria.

The Brands which rates clearly above the other brands is given the Gold Status, which means means the Most Trusted brands.

Brands with scores more than three times that of their nearest competitor, or with a score at least double that of their nearest competitor and an average rating of at least 4 points (out of a possible 5) on the qualitative criteria, receive a Platinum Trusted Brand Award.

In 2006, Reader’s Digest conducted a survey of over 70,000 people throughout Asia to establish the region’s most “Trusted Brands”. Nutrilite nutritional supplements,was a Gold Winner in Thailand and Taiwan, a Platinum Winner in Malaysia and China, and a Gold Winner for the Asian region as a whole. The Gold Trusted Brand award goes to brands that score well above their competitors, while the Platinum Trusted Brand award is given for truly outstanding achievement and goes to competitors that have scored at least double that of their nearest rival.
